Cosmetic bonding (or composite bonding) is a tooth-coloured resin applied directly onto an affected tooth which is then moulded to the exact shape and thickness required. The resin sets and hardens once a special light is applied onto it, which in turn bonds it to the natural tooth for a strong and durable finish.
The resin will be colour-matched to your teeth to ensure the most natural finish.
Composite bonding is used to correct a number of issues: from repairing decayed teeth, chipped or cracked teeth, to lengthen teeth or change their shape, to close gaps between teeth or to protect the tooth’s root if the gums recede.
