Our principle dentist Duncan Ralston qualified from Birmingham
University in 1984; the last 20 years have been spent gathering
knowledge and skills from recognised centres of excellence in
America, Germany, Canada, and Harley Street here in the UK.
Duncan is a member of the British Dental Assosiation, The Association
of Dental Implantology and The British Society of Occlusal Studies.

Dental Surgeon
Robert A Ralston, Duncan’s father, qualified from Glasgow
University in 1952, with distinction in both children’s
and preventive dentistry. He then served two years National
Service in the Royal Air Force.
Attracted to Leicester in 1954, by the advanced dentistry of
the late Mr Kenneth McAllister, with whom he worked until 1957,
when he founded our present practice.
Mr Ralston continues to practice on a part time basis and has
a special interest in periodontology and the construction of
precision fitting dentures.

Ingrid joined the team in 1995. In 2000 she achieved her Btec
Higher National diploma in practice management.
Meg Chalmers (top,

Receptionist
Meg has been at the clinic since 1999; she has a wealth
of experience in dental and medical reception duties.
Jo Alibone(top, 2nd on right)
EDH RDN
Dental Hygienist
Jo qualified from Birmingham University in 2000 as a Dental
Hygienist, her primary care is to improve and maintain the oral
hygiene and gum condition of our patients.

Clinical Manager
Esther gained her Dental Nursing Diploma in 1989, then qualified
from Bristol University in 1994; with a General Nursing Degree.
She is our Clinic First Aider and has been with us since 1995.
Jenny Dexter (bottom, left)
Dental Nurse
Jenny joined the practice in January 2004, to further her nursing
experience.
Amanda Stacey (bottom,
right)
Dental Nurse
Amanda joined the clinic as a dental nurse in March 2005, having
had five years of previous experience.
